Noren are traditional Japanese curtains used to enhance any room or doorway. They are split in the middle so you can walk through a doorway easily while allowing the air and light to circulate in your room. This unique and elegant noren depicts the the four seasons in Japanese Kanji in rich hues of yellow, autumn gold and black. The calligraphy top right and moving clockwise, depicts spring, summer, winter and autumn. Made in Japan of 100% cotton, it has a closed topseam to insert a wooden or bamboo dowel for hanging. It measures 33" wide and 59" long.
