Our best selling-Bodhicitta or Buddha Heart, also known and the awakened heart of compassion. In Buddhist thought, Bodhicitta is the motivation of a bodhisattva. Historically, it is a combination of the Sanskrit words Bodhi or enlightenment, and Citta - "heartmind", and is sometime translated as mind of enlightenment. It can be seen as both the means and the goal: the wish to achieve Buddhahood or full enlightenment, in order to liberate all sentient beings from suffering. The elegantly styled calligraphy characters are depicted on a very large traditional hanging linen and silk scroll. The one of a kind characters are beautifully painted by Asian artisans to inspire. The silk scroll borders are a white silk damask and the scroll has wooden dowels. The scroll measures 23.0" wide x 62.0" in length.
