We are pleased to offer our new line of high quality shoji door kits. Blending traditional Japanese style and contemporary design, this sliding shoji door kit will transform any space into a calming, relaxing environment. The kit includes the upper and lower rails, two side supports, two double sided shoji screen panels and hardware. Easy to install, the doors slide effortlessly on double routed wood tracks. Shoji-style doors are versatile and can be installed in almost any living space, including use as closet doors or to cover glass sliders. The Double Sided Shoji Door Kits are available in a Natural Finish, Honey, Walnut, Cherry and Black (as shown in picture). Please select your color in the drop down box when ordering.


Beautifully handcrafted with exception to detail at every level, these doors are made from Scottish Pine. The design features a double sided wood lattice, with 4 x 13 rectangular grid design. The mortise & tenon hardwood frame is fully hand finished with your choice of three colors, and sealed with a clear protective varnish.

Our Double Sided Shoji Door Kits are fitted with a high grade, acrylic material that is moisture, puncture and tear resistant called Warlon® and is used in Japan. It is sturdy while still allowing filtered light through. You may wish to contact a local designer or carpenter to work with you to accommodate sizing for your door opening. We also offer a great book full of ideas to assist you in getting started to create your own sacred space - A JAPANESE TOUCH FOR YOUR HOME by renowned Japanese architect Koji Yagi. It provides complete layouts and numerous design ideas for Japanese decor.


The double sided doors have the wood grid-work visible on both sides for both aesthetics and integrity. The dimensions for the rough opening are approximately 81 3/4"H x 73"W x 3 1/2"D per kit.
