Traditional Japanese Tanzaku Kake boards are made from fine handmade art papers layered over hard board backing. Both Stylish and distinctive, they are bordered in an elegant damask brocade printed paper. They are finished with a strip of gold paper and are perfect for Sumi-e, haiku, and watercolor painting. The Shikishi board measures 2 7/8" wide and is 14" in length and held in place by silver accents. The outer dimensions of the Tanzaku Frame are 4" wide and 18 7/8" tall. A rich purple tassle dropped cord completes this classic frame. Available in your choice of Cream or Rose damask border.
