Paper scrolls have played a central role in Japanese art since the early 14th century. This blank scroll is made from high-quality rice paper and is perfect for traditional calligraphy and sumi-e. The scroll has a green brocade paper with an oriental design and has wooden dowels. The outside dimensions are 16" wide and 48" long and the inside dimensions are 12" wide and 32" in length.
