A Zabuton is a traditional Japanese cushion for sitting and enters many aspects of their culture. Zabutons are used in Zen meditation, for eating, watching television, reading and other daily activities. In Zen meditation, practitioners sit on Zafu which is typically placed on top of a Zabuton. The Zabuton cushions the knees and ankle while sitting in the cross legged position. This Zabuton is well stuffed with cotton batting and measures 36" x 28" and is 3-4" in height. The outer covering is made from a soft and durable 100% organic cotton twill fabric with natural, organic dyes and is eco-certified as a sustainable textile product.
