Quite the discovery, this designer lamp sculpture is hand-crafted from silkworm cocoons which have been painstakingly and precisely cut by hand and overlaid on a hand-woven ball of cotton thread. This lamp is pure dazzle and will make an impressive statement for the home whether placed on a table or suspended from the ceiling as a hanging lantern. The lamp measures 8"x8"x9". Recommended lighting is a compact spiral 13 watt fluorescent bulb (60 watt incadescent bulb comparison).
