It also has a full center support. The platform has a connected slat structure and the tatami mats lie flush within the frame of the bed. The tatami mats eliminate the need for a box spring and this bed is perfect for use with any traditional or futon mattress of your choice. Your mattress can also be placed directly on the slats without tatami mats if you prefer.

This Tatami platform bed is available with natural Japanese Rush Grass Tatami mats or you may purchase the bed frame only. Available in your choice of colors: warm Honey, a rich Honey, dark Walnut or Zen Black finish.
